Nina M. 12/2/2010 4 Best Auto Repair Service in Atlanta! I am a lont time customer. I went to get an oil change and Window adjustment. Rainy and cold evening. Took a bit longer than I had hoped. Had to return next day for slight adjustment for window, took a minute, then door knob needed adjusting as a result of work on window. Even though I had to return and spend more time, what is most important is that they were willing to accomodate me until I was eventually satisfied. This is the best long term service I've ever received from an auto repair service. They look out for your best interest sometimes even at their own expense. Thank you!

Anon 3/12/2011 5 When I arrived at 9am I asked the receptionist how long it would take for an oil change because I did not have an appointment - she told me that they could start in 20 minutes. I did not leave until 11:30. This was ridiculous for a simple oil change. Another frustrated customer was in the waiting area for a long time waiting for a uhaul. This was my 1st time here but I will continue to get my car serviced in Tucker...better service they get you in and out. Thought I would try establishment in the community close to home.

Mark 10/20/2011 3.5 thanks for the heads up on the engine oil leak and that it is covered under factory warranty. I would like to recommend a more prompt follow up on the work to be done after the car has been dropped off. It was 3 1/2 hours before i was called. the car was ready over an hour after promised and it appeared that a smoker was in my car based on the smell. Otherwise the car performs as it should and the brakes work to perfection.

The best asset to this company is their receptionist(I am sorry for not including her name but I wasn't sure how to spell it) who is so professional, friendly, personable,knowledgable of the business which is very impressive, patient, and etc. She knows just as much as the Mechanics;that is a plus for us women because most Auto Care places try to take advantage of women. But actually she treated everyone equally. Another highlight of my visit was that Service 1st gave me a loaner car so they could give my car some extra TLC and not inconvenience me at the same time. Most places that I have been to do not offer this service. Also the prices were very reasonable and the fact that they accept the Auto Care credit card truly was a blessing. When I picked up my car, the Mechanic was very nice and professional as well. Thank you so much for an awesome visit, from the time I first walked in your place of Business to the time I picked up my car. I will refer everyone I know. After all that, she told me what it could be and, lo and behold, she was correct...as usual. I had to leave my car, but they offered to take me home. Price was reasonable and I couldn't ask for anything better.

Anon 6/16/2012 5 I prefer taking my Honda Accord to Service 1st Auto over the dealership because of prices and and location. The workers are knowledgable and always show a great deal of courtesy. This is important to me as a woman because I don't want to feel like I am being taken advantage of. They fixed my car after I was in a accident, when I picked up my finished car, not only was it clean they also completed the oil change that would have been needed soon. Get your auto services completed with Service1st and be satisfied.
Harold 6/16/2012 4.5 I hate to give the appearance that i'm rubber stamping a review but I have been happy with the service I have received at Service 1st Auto Care every since I stopped driving pass them on my way to a dealership. The dealership did wash my vehicle after servicing it but I'm sure that I paid for it. The bottom line for me is, I trust Service 1st Auto Care to do what needs to be done to my vehicle without recommending service and parts that are not needed. My statement to them is "I'll be back".

Judith 8/8/2012 1.5 I have always been satisfied with the services I have received from Service 1st. However during this visit, I spent 3 hours just to be told that I needed a new battery. Even after being told of my need and purchasing the battery, I waited over an hour after been told that it would only take 10 minutues to complete. The young lady at the front desk went out three time to speed up he process, once to tell the service personnel where to check for the purchase date of the first battery, the second time to see what was causing the delay and the third time to actual bring me my car. My patience wore very thin. I will say that customer service from the front desk was super. I was not satisfied at all with the young man who actually worked on my car.

Paula Beal 8/11/2012 0.5 I took my car for a part on the transmission. The car was not changinging gears properly. They kept my car for 3 days because they said the part had to be ordered. Upon picking up my car and paying over $4oo for the repair, the car ran fine for 2 weeks. I began to have the same problem after 2 weeks. Return to the shop with no satisfaction, saying it wasn't their fault and something else was wrong with my car. Had my money refunded, took it to another shop and found out the part wa NEVER put in and this is why I was having the same problem. Very disappointed.

Also if the part is not onsite that should be factored into the expected completion of repair and communicated to the client. 2. The hours should be earlier at least 07:00, the latest 07:30.

Joyce 7/22/2013 2 It's seem like lately everything time I bring my car in for service I feel like it's a guessing game because it never works the first time and I have to bring it back again. For instance I needed to get my sunroof fixed I paid ~$200 it worked for a week and then it broke again and now your telling me that it's going to cost ~$800. To me you should have known that at the beginning and I could have made the disussion then to get it fixed or not so now i feel i'm out of $200 and my sunroof still is not working.

My care is never done on the initial date that's projected to me. For example, I was told on 2/20 that it'd be ready on 2/26. I called on 2/25 and was given a new date of 2/27...called on 2/27 and it was told to me to call back on 2/28... on 2/28 , "Call us on 3/1". I did not call on 3/1, but instead call on 3/3 and it was finally completed. Each time, I had to call before anyone contacted me. This process needs to be streamlined somehow. Timothy 3/24/2014 3 I visited the facility, which was very well maintained, however was lacking a receptionist that particular day. I waited about 15 minutes before speaking to Kevin, who was very courteous and professional. An inspection was done on my 99 Accord and I received a report outlining the points inspected and the services needed. I left with advice on the amount of time I had before I needed brakes, and that I would need some significant engine service to solve an oil burning issue. Though I realize I will likely spend over $2,000 to have all this service done, I would gladly return to Service 1st. From the point where I actually have work done on the car, I will be able to make a further rating that is hopefully better in accordance with other ratings I've read.

I asked for a valve adjustment, but they determined it were other problems. Long story short, took it to another mechanic to adjust valves and my problems were solved. BTW Service 1st claimed they checked the valves.

After spending $1300 on a full tune up, etc. I do not understand why it could not be determined that my engine was full of sludge. Not even two weeks later, I had to bring my car in for cutting off while driving for you to tell me that I need a new engine. It's not reasonable for me to spend another $2500 on an engine replacement in a '99. Although it's a Toyota- that's not logical. I could Have used the money spent on a down payment for. New car. This was my send a last negative experience. I called and spoke with the office twice, asking if the were willing to trade in or sell me a car. NO RETURN CALL - after all of the money I shared with you. I will not be back and I do not recommend your services. Unfortunate isn't it? PLEASE REMOVE ME FROM YOUR MAILING LIST. Unfortunately I haven't been getting that level of service in the last few visits...lack of return calls, very long waits, something happens with my car a day after I get it serviced (this happened the last two times) and on the most recent visit, I wasn't informed that my car needed to stay before the shop closed. These are good people, just need to tighten up a few things to get back on top.
